Studying is about more than just amassing enough study credits. Although your time at university is limited, it is important to use that time for personal development, which is why the Leiden University Fund (LUF) offers students the opportunity to apply for a grant to promote that development.

You can apply for a grant if you have an original plan for a project abroad, for study, internship, graduation research or research in the run-up to a PhD. If your student association or study association has plans to organise an (online) activity, you can apply for a subsidy from the Committee for General Student Activity Grants (CASSA). In addition to grants for stays abroad and student activities, the LUF offers a number of other student grants.
