Internal medicine travel scholarship in the field of patient care
Prof.dr. A.E. Meinders Fund: grant for a study trip or internship in the field of internal medicine and patient care.
Maximum grant amount: €10,000.
- Students and PhD candidates Internal Medicine or Biomedical Sciences, if they are supervised by the Internal Medicine department.
- Candidates must be curious, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic.
- Candidates with demonstrable broad interests and who distinguish themselves in a field other than medicine are more likely to receive a scholarship.
- You must be a student or a PhD candidate at Leiden University.
- The study trip or internship preferably takes place at one of LUMC’s preferred research partners.
- The project start date must not precede the submission deadline.
- You must submit a final and financial report to LUF within two months of completing the project, after which the grant will be paid.
- Applications that contravene restrictive measures adopted by the government or Leiden University or that apply in the destination country (code orange or red) will not be considered.

P.A. Jager-van Gelder Fund: grant for research in the field of ophthalmology. Maximum grant amount: €5,000.
Students, PhD candidates and researchers affiliated with Leiden University conducting ophthalmological research at LUMC or abroad. Internationals coming to Leiden for ophthalmological research can also apply.

PhD candidates and students of the Willem-Alexander Kinderziekenhuis (WAKZ).
